Far EasTone's energy applications at the 2023 Smart City exhibition addressed electricity use by businesses, communities and homes, as well as temporary islanded supply for offshore areas. The source links these applications to managing energy costs and supply risk.

Maxmodel built an energy storage and grid display using lighting controls to explain different application scenarios. The approximately 70 × 60 cm model attracted media attention at the event and is compact enough for a showroom or transport to customer presentations.
