Project Story
At the Taiwan Innotech Expo, Maxmodel worked with Taipower's research institute to present a net-zero, low-carbon home concept. The interactive model places the building at the center of an explanation of ways to address its energy use and carbon emissions.
Five Connected Cycles
The model brings together materials, energy, space, water resources and biological cycles. Integrated app and lighting controls let visitors explore the individual systems on a tablet, including the source's example of lower-carbon materials within the biological cycle.
A Custom Interactive App
The app includes an automatic guided mode. Visitors can select explanatory videos, helping manage on-site tours and giving more people access to the technical explanation.
A Three-Story Building in Scale
The 150 × 100 cm model shows a three-story building, with low-carbon and energy-saving features on each floor. These include ALC lightweight blocks, hollow cement panels and recycled-plastic flooring.
Coordinated Display Techniques
Interactive controls, 3D printing and lighting work together to present the low-carbon building concept through a physical exhibition model.
