Project Story
For MSI at COMPUTEX 2023, Maxmodel created a projection-mapping model explaining Wi-Fi signal extension. Selected projection sequences show signals traveling past obstacles, while the plain model beneath provides a clear physical setting for the product explanation.
Building the Projection Model
The 130 × 100 cm display began with an agreed animation script and production of the animation. The layout was developed in 3D and printed, then fitted with a projector to bring the sequence onto the model.
Exhibition Presentation
The projection effect was designed to draw visitors' attention and help them understand MSI's product features and signal-extension technology. The project uses physical form and animation together to support the client's explanation and exhibition presentation.
Max One Video Planning × Dynamic Projection Mapping
Max One starts with the display objective, develops an animation script and visual pacing, and then adapts the content for projection mapping.
Media planning turns product characteristics into visible representations of signals, energy or data flows. The animation can also be used for explanatory displays and marketing material, extending the use of the media beyond the model.
Combining 3D visual design with on-site projection equipment makes the projected sequence part of the technical and brand explanation, rather than a standalone visual effect.
