MIRDC | Enlarged Screw and Fastener Process Models

To help MIRDC explain screw and fastener machining, Maxmodel produced enlarged process models. Structures, thread profiles and machining features that are difficult to see on small screws become readily visible.

Small Components × Enlarged Detail

Instead of shrinking industrial equipment, the project enlarges screws to show thread depth and spacing, material textures and changes in shape at each processing stage. The small workpiece itself becomes the focus of the demonstration.

Illuminated Information × Processing Steps

Illuminated acrylic information panels present technical text and process diagrams with soft lighting, giving the display a clear, carefully finished appearance.

Dedicated Flight Case × Portable Display

A dedicated flight case stores the models and accessories for use across different exhibition areas. Protective, compact storage supports touring exhibitions and educational outreach.
