Showcase
Project Story
At Energy Taiwan 2023, Formosa Smart EnergyTech, the Formosa Plastics group's energy storage specialist, presented a high-capacity storage cabinet solution. Maxmodel's display used exterior modeling, 3D printing and laser cutting to explain space use, fire-safety design, heat dissipation and maintenance access.
Making the Features Visible
The exhibition model combines a detailed exterior with 3D-printed and laser-cut components. Its physical presentation helps visitors inspect and understand the cabinet's features.
A Compact Equipment Display
The model is 70 cm long and travels in a wheeled aluminum case. Its design highlights efficient use of space and the large number of batteries housed in the cabinet, with layered details created through printing and laser cutting.
SLA Printing and Laser Cutting
SLA-printed and laser-cut parts reproduce the cabinet's battery-filled interior. These processes give the model detailed surfaces and a more tangible equipment presentation.
Magnetic Opening Doors
The cabinet doors open and close so presenters can explain battery removal and maintenance. Magnetic closures keep the doors practical to use while preserving the model's appearance.
Design Review and Exhibition Handling
Early discussions used photographs and explanatory images to develop a full 3D visualization for client review, reducing the need for site visits. Maxmodel also handled exhibition move-in and move-out so the client could focus on visitors. At Energy Taiwan 2023, the finished model supported the presentation of the storage solution's technical and practical features.
