Academia Sinica's model explains tandem perovskite/silicon and silicon-based solar cells. Transparent layers and flowing light show conversion between layers, with programmed nodes illustrating what happens as sunlight passes through particular sections.

Mixed-Material Structure × Practical Handling

Approximately 70 cm tall, the model combines metal, ABS and acrylic. The materials balance structural support, durability and manageable weight for display and movement.

Changing Numbers × Linked Scenarios

A central seven-segment numeric display shows values corresponding to the active scenario. The exploded-view structure helps explain complex solar-conversion concepts for science education and renewable-energy outreach.
