Academia Sinica | Carbon Separation and Hydrogen Combustion Model
Showcase
Project Story
Maxmodel created a display model of a carbon-separation and hydrogen-combustion unit jointly developed by Academia Sinica and Taipower. The project presents their work in energy efficiency and environmental technology.
From Photographs to Fabrication
Working closely with the client, we built a detailed 3D model directly from supplied photographs. After design confirmation, fabrication was completed in two weeks to meet the project's urgent schedule.
Public Presentation
The source reports that the model was presented by then-President Tsai Ing-wen and became a focus of media coverage. It links the occasion with government support for technological research and environmental protection.
Communicating the Research
The model combines exhibition design, exterior detailing, 3D printing, equipment modeling and laser cutting. Beyond reproducing the machinery, it helps explain the research institutions' and government's work on energy and environmental technology and their direction for green energy development.
